Lasting Current Review

Write for us

Lasting Current Review welcomes pitches that help general readers understand energy without requiring specialist knowledge. We are interested in clear explanations, thoughtful comparisons and well-bounded subjects that remain useful beyond the news cycle.

What we welcome

Propose pieces about generation, grids, storage, demand or energy transitions. Strong ideas explain a mechanism, clarify a term, compare distinct approaches or trace how a particular part of an energy system works. We favour articles readers can learn from without relying on current statistics, unverified claims or technical instructions.

Make the pitch specific

Send a working title, a short summary of the central idea, the intended reader and a brief outline of the points the piece would cover. Explain what makes the subject distinct and identify any claims that may need careful qualification. Do not include confidential material, unsupported claims of expertise or work presented as reported research if no such work has been done.

How to send it

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication. We may ask for clarification or a revised scope, and we expect contributors to distinguish verified information from interpretation.

Our point of view

Energy makes more sense in context

We look beyond a single device or source to the connected choices that shape how energy is produced, delivered and used.
