Editorial policy
Lasting Current Review aims to make energy topics accurate, understandable and useful. We distinguish explanation from opinion, give claims suitable context and make changes openly when an error needs correcting.
Accuracy and context
We check factual claims against suitable source material and take care with technical terms, comparisons and statements that may change over time. Articles should explain the scope of a claim and avoid implying that a general description applies to every location or system. When evidence is incomplete or a point is uncertain, we say so rather than filling gaps with guesswork.
Independence
Editorial choices are made for reader relevance and clarity. A commercial relationship does not entitle a partner to determine our conclusions or remove fair context. We do not present promotional claims as independent editorial findings, and we do not claim testing or research that has not been carried out.
Corrections
Readers can use the Contact page to point out a possible error, with the relevant article and correction clearly identified. We review specific, checkable concerns and amend material when warranted. Where a meaningful correction changes the understanding of a piece, we make the change and its nature clear on the article.
Partners and illustrations
Sponsored or partner material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. Partner placements are identified clearly wherever they appear. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when an illustration could reasonably be mistaken for a documentary image, we label it accordingly.
Energy makes more sense in context
We look beyond a single device or source to the connected choices that shape how energy is produced, delivered and used.
